Phen-Pro Education: Phen-Pro — The Newest Phentermine Coctail

The latest diet drug cocktail using Phentermine is "Phen-Pro"— the "Pro" stands for Prozac, but Zoloft, Celexa, Luvox, Trazadone, or Effexor may be used in its place.

An antidepressant is used in the Phen-Pro cocktail because the effects of Phentermine diet pills lessen over time when used alone. Adding the antidepressant, not only prolongs Phentermine effectiveness, it improves the results too. To date, we are not aware of any deleterious effects from using the Phen-Pro cocktail.

The FDA does not aprove of the Phentermine-Prozac combination; it is considered an "off-label" drug.
